SCS’s liner division is based out of Dawson Creek, BC, and Devon, Alberta and bids and executes geomembrane liner projects across Canada.

In 2022, we recognized a need for a new geomembrane liner supply and installation company in Canada. We were aware that expertise in this field is critical, so we located and hired arguably the most accomplished liner project manager in Western Canada: Gary Watkins.

Gary comes with over 20 years of direct supervision and management experience in the installation of geomembrane liners across Canada for landfills, ponds, tanks, canals, heap leach pads, and secondary containment for industrial facilities. Gary has a wealth of experience working for clients in the oil and gas and mining industries, who have some of the highest standards for safety and quality in the world. He understands the importance of maintaining strict safety protocols and ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standard. Gary’s attention to detail and ability to anticipate and prevent potential issues ensures that projects are completed on time and within budget and clients are satisfied with the results.

In addition to the supply and installation of liners, SCS provides assistance to clients in the geomembrane design process, including assistance with determining the correct products and installation procedures. We work closely with engineering companies when it comes to the design of systems. Gary’s wealth of knowledge combined with engineering companies’ expertise, means a cost-effective and long-lasting geomembrane system for clients.
